The tachometer and speedometer are electromechanical, while the odometer is fully electronic. Information about the speed of movement and the distance traveled is read from the vehicle speed sensor. Odometer reading (total and daily mileage) and indications of the trip computer are displayed on the liquid crystal display. The trip computer control buttons are made on the lever of the right steering column switch.
The instrument panel contains five lamps inserted into plastic cartridges (four lamps are designed to illuminate the instruments, one lamp illuminates the liquid crystal display). Warning lamps inform the driver about the activation or malfunction of various vehicle systems. They are made on LEDs and soldered to the electrical board of the instrument panel. Therefore, only the instrument illumination lamps can be replaced.
The low brake fluid level sensor is located in the reservoir cap of the master cylinder. When the liquid level falls below the permissible level, the sensor float, having lowered, closes the contacts, as a result of which the control lamp lights up.
The emergency oil pressure sensor is installed in the cylinder head. The contacts of a good sensor should close when the pressure in the engine lubrication system drops below 0.06 MPa (0.6 kgf/cm2).
The coolant temperature indicator sensor is installed at the end of the engine cylinder head above the clutch housing.
Fuel gauge sensor (and fuel reserve) installed in the fuel module.
Also, the car can be equipped with front brake pad wear sensors. The signal from the sensor is displayed on the instrument panel.
