Description and characteristics of LADA Largus cars

LADA Largus (Lada Largus) is a compact car of the Russian manufacturer AvtoVAZ, produced since 2012 as a commercial two-seater van or a five-seater passenger station wagon. It replaced the Lada Nadezhda minivan, which was produced in the period 1998-2006. It is an adaptation of the first generation Dacia Logan MCV for Russia and is produced as part of a joint project with "Renault" and "Nissan". Largus is based on the Dacia B0 platform with front-wheel drive and a front transverse engine. It is a cheaper alternative to station wagons based on "Granta" or "Vesta".

The main price competitors of Lada Largus cars are Changan CS35, Citroen Berlingo VP/VU, Kia Ceed SW, Lifan Myway, Lifan X60, Peugeot Partner VP/VU, Renault Dokker VP/VU, VW Caddy VP/VU.

The body is presented in two variants - a passenger five-door van/station wagon with five or seven seats for passengers and a five-door commercial van with two seats in the front, the rest of the space is intended for cargo. The external dimensions of both body variants are as follows: length 4470 mm, width 1750 mm, height 1636 mm, wheelbase 2905 mm and unladen weight of 1260-1330 kg. The car is equipped with air conditioning, anti-lock braking system (ABS), two front airbags, Bluetooth hands-free system and MP3 player. In 2015, the "Cross" version of increased cross-country ability appeared.

Largus was equipped with four petrol four-cylinder engines, all with a volume of 1.6 liters (1596 cm³) with the following characteristics: "Renault K7M", 8-valve, 84 hp.; "Renault K4M", 16-valve, 102 hp.; "VAZ-11189", 8-valve, 87 hp.; "VAZ-21129", 16-valve, 106 hp. A five-speed manual gearbox was installed - French "JR5" or "JH3", as well as Russian "VAZ-21809".

There were three configurations - "Standard", "Norma" and "Lux". Since 2018, they planned to install it on gas equipment for methane as a series.
