LADA LARGUS cars are equipped with gasoline, in-line, 4-cylinder 8- and 16-valve engines with a working volume of 1.6 liters with 2 or 4 valves per cylinder.

Since 2016, they began to install their modern counterparts produced by AvtoVAZ. Accordingly, the K7M was replaced by the VAZ-11189 engine, and the K4M was replaced by the VAZ-21129. The engines are distinguished by lightweight ShPG, automatic timing belt tensioner, metal cylinder head gasket, body kit and supports.
