Installation
For vehicles with K7M engine without air conditioning and without power steering.
Attention. The accessory drive belt must be replaced.
Install and fix on pulley 2, Figure 3-1, crankshaft accessory drive belt installer (fixture 67.7834-9703).
Install a new accessory drive belt 1 and turn the crankshaft pulley clockwise until the belt is fully seated on the crankshaft pulley (interchangeable head 18, extension, crank).
For cars with K7M engine without air conditioning with power steering
Attention. Parts that must be replaced:
- accessory drive belt;
- tension roller.
Install a new tension roller 3, Figure 3-2, and install, without tightening, the bolts 2 fastening the tension roller (interchangeable head 10, extension, ratchet wrench).
Install the accessory drive belt 4.
Tension the belt with the adjusting bolt 1 (interchangeable head 10, extension, ratchet wrench).
Adjust belt tension (instrument Mot. 1505 or "LADAHOPMA - PINAR"). The measurement is carried out at point A. The oscillation frequency is 204±5 Hz.
Rotate the crankshaft two turns clockwise to properly install the belt (interchangeable head 18, extension, crank).
Check belt tension, adjust if necessary (instrument Mot. 1505 or "LADAHOPMA - PINAR").
Tighten the tension roller bolts. Tightening torque 21 N.m (2.1 kgf·m) (interchangeable head 16, torque wrench).
For vehicles with air conditioning and power steering
Attention. Parts that must be replaced:
- accessory drive belt;
- automatic tension roller;
- bypass roller.
Install new automatic tensioner 1, Figure 3-3. Tightening torque of the bolt for fastening the automatic tension roller 21 N.m (2.1 kgf·m) (interchangeable head 16, torque wrench).
Install a new bypass roller 4. Tightening torque of the bypass roller mounting bolt 21 N.m (2.1 kgf·m) (interchangeable head 16, torque wrench).
Install a new accessory drive belt 3.
Remove hex wrench 5.
Rotate the crankshaft two turns clockwise to properly install the belt (interchangeable head 18, extension, crank).
For vehicles with K4M engine with air conditioning and power steering
Attention. Parts that must be replaced:
- accessory drive belt;
- automatic tension roller;
- tensioner bolt.
Install a new automatic tensioner 1, Figure 3-4, with a new mounting bolt. Tightening torque of the bolt 4 fastening the automatic tension roller 40 N.m (4.0 kgf·m) (interchangeable head 16, torque wrench).
Turn the automatic tensioner clockwise using wrench 2 (ring key 16).
Install a new accessory drive belt 3.
Rotate the crankshaft two turns to properly install the belt (interchangeable head 16, extension, ratchet wrench).
