Removing
Place the car in the workplace, brake with the parking brake, turn off the ignition and disconnect the wire terminal "masses" from the battery.
Remove engine crankcase protection (see here).
With special equipment:
Install the traverse 1, Figure 14-4, on the gutter grooves of the engine compartment and hook it to the lifting eye 2 on the engine from the timing drive side (traverse for hanging the engine type RST-500 ES f. "RANGER").

In the absence of special equipment:
We substitute a support under the crankcase (e.g. jack) through a wooden block.
In the absence of a suitable support, or jack, you can slightly raise the right side of the engine with a mounting spatula (behind the oil pan, leaning with a spatula on the subframe) and insert a wooden wedge between the subframe and the oil pan.
For vehicles with K4M engine
Disconnect from holders a fuel pipe 1, drawing 14-5, and a pipe 2 systems of catching of vapors of gasoline.

Mark the position of the right engine mount with a marker on the body.
Unscrew the bolts 3 fastening the bracket of the right suspension support to the engine (interchangeable head 16, extension, crank).
Remove bolts 4 securing the right engine mount to the body (interchangeable head 16, extension, crank).
Remove right engine mount assembly with bracket.
Having unscrewed the bolt securing the support to the bracket, we separate the support and the bracket.
For vehicles with K7M engine

Mark the position of the right engine mount with a marker on the body.
Unscrew the bolts 1, Figure 14-6, fastening the bracket of the right suspension support to the engine (interchangeable head 16, extension, crank).
Remove bolts 2 securing the right engine mount to the body (interchangeable head 16, extension, crank).
... and remove the right support together with the bracket.
Using a suitable tool, push out and separate the right support and its bracket.
Installation
For vehicles with K4M engine
Install the right support 5 of the engine mount according to the marks on the body made during its removal, and fasten the right support of the suspension to the engine and body with bolts 3 and 4 (interchangeable head 16, extension, crank).
Tighten to the required torque:
- bolts of fastening of an arm of the right support of a suspension bracket to the engine 62 Nm (6.2 kgf·m);
- bolts of fastening of the right support of a suspension bracket to a body 62 Nm (6.2 kgf·m) (interchangeable head 16, extension, torque wrench).
Install the fuel pipe 1 and the pipe 2 of the gasoline vapor recovery system into the holders.
For vehicles with K7M engine
Install the right support 3, Figure 14-6, of the engine mount according to the marks on the body made during its removal, and fasten the right support of the suspension to the engine and body with bolts 1 and 2 (interchangeable head 16, extension, crank).
Tighten to the required torque:
- bolts of fastening of an arm of the right support of a suspension bracket to the engine 62 Nm (6.2 kgf·m);
- bolts of fastening of the right support of a suspension bracket to a body 62 Nm (6.2 kgf·m) (interchangeable head 16, extension, torque wrench).
Operations for all vehicle configurations
If fitted: Unhook the traverse from the lifting eye on the engine and remove the traverse.
If installed: Remove support from under the engine (wooden spacer).
Install engine protection.
Attach wire terminal "masses" to the battery.
