Removal
Place the vehicle on a two-post lift, apply the parking brake, turn off the ignition and disconnect the ground wire from the battery.
Remove the gearbox.
Remove the pressure and driven clutch discs.
Lock flywheel 1, Figure 8-1, with lock 2 (flywheel lock Mot. 582-01, spanner 17).
Unscrew the seven bolts 3 securing the flywheel and remove the flywheel (replaceable head 17, extension, ratchet wrench).

Installation
Check the condition of the flywheel.
Clean the threaded holes on the crankshaft flange for the flywheel mounting bolts.
Clean the mating surfaces of the flywheel and crankshaft.
Attention. The flywheel mounting bolts must be replaced.
Install the flywheel and screw in the flywheel mounting bolts without tightening them (replacement head 17, extension, ratchet).
Lock the flywheel with a locking device (flywheel locking tool Mot. 582-01).
Tighten flywheel mounting bolts 1...7, Fig. 6-8, in the specified order to the following torque:
- for K4M engine 25 Nm (2.5 kgf·m) + 50° ±6°;
- for the K7M engine 55 N·m (5.5 kgf·m) (replaceable head 17, extension, torque wrench).

Install the clutch pressure and driven discs.
Remove the flywheel lock (spanner 17).
Install the gearbox. Connect the ground wire terminal to the battery.
