Figure 1.8. Remote control (RC)
The remote control system is designed for:
- remote locking/unlocking of all doors (or just the back doors) with simultaneous switching on/off of the "SECURITY" mode of the alarm signaling;
- turning off the "ALARM" mode of the alarm signaling. To avoid unintentional unlocking/locking of the doors due to accidental pressing of the buttons, handle the remote control with care!
Locking door locks and turning on the "Security" mode using the remote control
If one of the doors was open when the "SECURITY" mode was turned on, the door locks will not be locked and the "SECURITY" mode will not be turned on (in this case the turn signal light will not turn on).
Close all doors, press the lock button
After turning on the "SECURITY" mode, the system monitors unauthorized opening of all doors.
Unlocking door locks and disabling the "Security" mode using the remote control
If the doors are unlocked from the unlock button
Unlocking the tailgate with the remote control
Unlocking the tailgate using the remote control is only possible when the ignition is off. To unlock the tailgate, press and hold the button for a while
When the security mode is on, the tailgate is unlocked simultaneously with the security mode being deactivated.
After closing the tailgate, to activate the security mode, you must press the lock button
Opening the tailgate
To open the tailgate, press the button under the trim and pull the door up (figure 1.9). If opening does not occur, the tailgate must be unlocked as described in the previous subsections.
For ease of closing the tailgate, a special recess is provided in the interior trim.
Warning! The tailgate is a source of increased injury risk. Therefore, be extremely careful when closing, especially if there are children nearby.

Remote disabling of the alarm in the "Security" mode
If one of the following actions occurs in the "GUARD" mode:
- opening any door;
- opening the hood;
- if the ignition is turned on with a "foreign" key, an alarm sound signal is activated.
The "ALARM" mode is switched off by pressing the unlock button
Central locking/unlocking of door locks
Central locking/unlocking of door locks is intended:
- to lock/unlock all doors using the remote control or a button on the instrument panel;
- to unlock all door locks when opening any front door from inside the passenger compartment;
- for automatic locking of side door locks after the vehicle starts moving.
To lock/unlock all doors from inside the car, press the button
Figure 1.10. Door lock switch button
If one of the doors is open when the button on the instrument panel is pressed, the door locks are not locked, as indicated by the door open indicator on the instrument cluster and the absence of the central locking button indicator.
To force the doors to lock if any door is opened (for example, when transporting long loads), you need to press and hold the button on the instrument panel for some time.
When any front door is opened from inside the passenger compartment, all door locks are automatically unlocked.
Warning! If you decide to drive with the doors locked, remember that this may make it difficult for rescuers to enter the vehicle in an emergency.
Enabling/disabling the automatic locking function of the side doors after starting to move
With the engine running, press the central locking button on the instrument panel and hold it for five seconds. The function is activated/deactivated when a beep sounds.
Once the vehicle starts moving at a speed of approximately 7 km/h, the doors will automatically lock.
The doors will be unlocked by pressing the central lock button on the instrument panel or by opening any door from the passenger compartment while the vehicle is parked.
Figure 1.11 Door lock switch button (in a variant design)
The central locking system has protection for door locks from overheating.
If the door locks are locked and unlocked repeatedly within a short period of time, the system will stop responding to pressing the button
If this happens, do not press the button
