- multimeter;
- pieces of wire.
Removal and inspection
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Having released the retainer, we disconnect the wiring harness block from the purge valve of the adsorber (for clarity, the photo shows the air filter cover removed).

3. Connect the "negative" probe of the voltmeter to the "mass" (to the car body).
4. Turn on the ignition and use a voltmeter to measure the supply voltage at terminal A of the wiring harness connector (the terminal designations are made on the block).

Note: The voltage at the terminal must be at least 12 V. If the voltage does not reach the connector or is less than 12 V, the battery is discharged, the power supply circuit is faulty, or the ECU is faulty.
5. Turn off the ignition.
6. Using a screwdriver, release the retainer, move the valve up, and remove it from the bracket (for clarity, the photo shows the air filter cover removed).

7. Squeezing the clamp, remove the tube tip from the valve branch pipe.

8. Using a Phillips screwdriver, loosen the clamp securing the hose to the purge valve tube of the adsorber.

9. Using a screwdriver, remove the valve from the adsorber.
Warning: To avoid short circuits, one of the probes should be insulated with PVC tubing when performing the following operation.
10. Apply 12 V voltage from the battery to the valve terminals ("+" to terminal A, "-" to terminal B).

Note: When voltage is applied to the terminals, the valve should open with a characteristic click. The faulty valve must be replaced.
Installation
We install the valve in the reverse order of removal.
