- multimeter (in voltmeter mode);
- inspection pit or overpass.
Removal
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Remove the engine splash guard or crankcase protection (if installed).
3. By pressing the lock 2, disconnect the wiring harness block from the sensor. using a 13 mm socket wrench, unscrew bolt 1 securing the sensor to the cylinder block.

4. Remove the sensor from under the intake module.
Examination
1. Connect the multimeter to the sensor terminals (in voltmeter mode with a measurement limit of up to 200 mV).

2. With a metal object (bolt, screwdriver) lightly tap the sensor, and voltage surges should be observed on the voltmeter. A faulty sensor does not respond to impacts. In this case, we replace it.
Note: The sensor can be tested more accurately only on a special stand.
Installation
We install the sensor in the reverse order of removal.
