1. Raise and support the front of the vehicle. Remove the wheel from the car.
2. Apply liquid such as WD-40 to the threaded connections of the front suspension arm.

3. Loosen the nut securing the strut to the front suspension arm, holding the strut with a wrench so that it does not turn in the silent blocks (rubber-metal hinges).

4. Remove the special washer.

5. Loosen the nut securing the stabilizer bar to the front suspension arm, holding the bolt from turning, and remove the bolt.

6. Press the ball joint pin out of the front suspension arm (see "Replacing the ball joint").

7. Loosen the front suspension arm mounting nut, holding the bolt from turning; remove the spring washer and take out the bolt.

8. Remove the end of the front suspension arm from the bracket on the body and remove the front suspension arm from the strut.

9. Remove the special washer 1 and the pack of adjusting washers 2 from the tensioner, counting their number (if they are installed). Mark the washers so that they can be installed on the same side of the front suspension arm later.
10. Signs of wear of silent blocks (rubber-metal hinges) the front suspension arm has breaks and one-sided bulging of the rubber, and separation of the rubber from the metal bushing.
To replace silent blocks (rubber-metal hinges) the front suspension arm requires special tools and certain work skills. We recommend two options: either replace the front suspension arm assembly with the hinges, or, after removing the front suspension arm from the car, replace the hinges in a specialized auto repair shop.
11. Install the new front suspension arm on the vehicle in the reverse order of removal. Install the adjusting washers in the same quantity, the chamfers on their internal diameters should be directed towards the thrust shoulder of the tensioner. Final tighten the suspension bolts with the vehicle on the ground. After lowering the car to the ground, rock it vigorously several times. Tighten the nuts securing the ball joint to the front suspension arm and the arm to the body bracket to a torque of 80-96 N·m (8.0-9.6 kgf·m), the nut securing the tie rod to the front suspension arm to a torque of 160-180 N·m (16.0-18.0 kgf·m), and the nut securing the anti-roll bar strut to the front suspension arm to a torque of 42-52 N·m (4.2-5.2 kgf·m). After driving 100 km, tighten these threaded connections again to the required torques.
