1. Loosen the front wheel mounting bolts on the corresponding side.
2. Raise and support the front of the vehicle. Unscrew the wheel mounting bolts and remove the wheel.
3. Clean any dirt from the front strut mount nut.

4. Unscrew the nut securing the strut to the bracket and remove the front washer of the strut bracket.

5. Loosen the nut securing the strut to the front suspension arm, holding the strut with a wrench so that it does not turn in the silent blocks (rubber-metal hinges).
6. Remove the front special washer.

7. Unscrew the three bolts securing the strut bracket to the body, remove the bracket and the rear special washer from the strut. 8. Remove the tension rod from the front suspension arm and remove the remaining adjusting washers from the tension rod.
9. Carefully inspect the front suspension strut. If it is bent, there is damage to the silent blocks (rubber-metal hinges) or the rubber of the stretch bracket has aged, bulged or lost its elasticity, replace the defective parts.
10. Install the new front suspension strut on the vehicle in the reverse order of removal. Adjusting washers are installed in the same quantity and on the same ends of the stretch. The chamfers on the inner circles must be directed towards the stop flange of the suspension brace.
11. After lowering the car to the ground, rock it vigorously several times and tighten the nuts securing the front suspension tie rod to the arm and bracket to a torque of 160-180 N·m (16.0-18.0 kgf·m), and the nuts securing the bracket to the body to a torque of 43-53 N·m (4.3-5.3 kgf·m). After 100 km of travel, tighten these threaded connections again to the required torques.
