To replace the cylinder head cover gasket on a car, you will need: a screwdriver, pliers, 13 and 17 spanners.
1. Remove the decorative engine cover (see "Removal and installation the decorative engine cover").
2. Loosen the clamps and disconnect the exhaust hose, small and large circuit hoses of the engine crankcase ventilation system from the cover fittings (see "Cleaning the crankcase ventilation system").
3. Disconnect the throttle actuator cable from the throttle assembly sector (see "Adjusting and replacing the throttle cable").

4. Unscrew the three nuts securing the accelerator drive cable bracket to the intake module and cylinder head cover, remove the washers installed under the nuts and move the bracket to the side without disconnecting the cable from it.

5. Unscrew the two nuts securing the cylinder head cover.

6. Remove the washers, rubber sealing bushings and remove the cylinder head cover.
7. Remove the cylinder head cover gasket.
8. Install a new gasket and new sealing bushings into the grooves of the cylinder head cover.
9. Install the cylinder head cover in the reverse order of removal, tighten the cover mounting nuts to the torque specified in appendix 1.
10. Install all removed parts and assemblies on the vehicle in the reverse order of removal.
