To adjust and replace the throttle cable on your vehicle, you will need: two keys «at 13», Phillips and flat blade screwdrivers.
1. To visually control the movement of the throttle valve, loosen the fastening clamp and disconnect the air supply pipe from the throttle assembly pipe (see «Removal and installation of the throttle assembly»).
2. With the accelerator pedal fully depressed (an assistant should do it) check the throttle position - it should be fully open.
3. With the accelerator pedal released, the throttle should be fully closed. Otherwise, the throttle actuator needs to be adjusted.
4. To adjust the throttle valve when the valve is not fully closed, loosen the nut 1 and, turning nut 2, ensure that the throttle valve is completely closed. If the damper does not fully open, loosen the tightening of nut 2 and, turning nut 1, ensure that the throttle damper opens completely. Then tighten the nut that was loose.
5. To replace the throttle cable, remove the safety bracket from the throttle assembly sector by prying it with a screwdriver.
6. Remove the tip of the cable from the sector groove and disconnect the cable from the throttle assembly.
7. Slide the protective cap off the end of the throttle cable.
8. Loosen the nuts securing the throttle cable sheath to the bracket...
9.... completely unscrew the front nut from the tip and remove the throttle cable from the slot of the bracket.
10. Remove the throttle cable from the retainer on the engine...
11.... and remove the second throttle cable retainer from the bracket hole on the gearbox.
12. Move the throttle cable sheath forward...
13.... and remove the throttle cable sheath damper from the hole in the front end shield.
14. In the passenger compartment under the instrument panel, remove the end of the throttle cable from the pedal lever finger by sliding it off the finger with a screwdriver.
15. Pull the throttle cable into the engine compartment.
16. Install the throttle cable on the vehicle in the reverse order of removal.
17. Adjust throttle actuator (see paragraphs. 2-4).
