The decorative engine cover is secured with four rubber clips that are placed on studs screwed into the cylinder head and into the intake module.

1. Unscrew the oil filler cap.
2. Pull the casing up by the edges and remove it by releasing the clips from the studs.
3. Inspect the fasteners on the back of the casing.

4. Replace the torn retainer by pressing it with a pointed tool (for example, with a screwdriver) edge of the retainer leg (shown by arrow) and push the retainer into the hole in the decorative cover. To make installation of the retainer easier, lubricate it with engine oil.
5. Install the decorative cover on the vehicle engine in the reverse order of removal, placing the fasteners on the studs and pressing the cover in the places where the fasteners are located until it stops.
