Before launch
When starting an engine with electronic injection, do not press the accelerator pedal before or during starting..
Prolonged engine operation at high speeds causes significant increases in engine and exhaust system temperatures, which may result in fire or other damage. Therefore, do not park your vehicle near dry grass or other dry surfaces.
Do not run the vehicle for long periods of time in a closed garage or other confined area as the exhaust fumes are harmful. Open the garage door before starting the engine.
Warning before launch
- Make sure all passengers have their seat belts fastened.
- Make sure that the power to the headlights and other electrical devices is turned off.
- Apply the parking brake.
- Make sure the transmission shifter is in neutral.
- When turning on the ignition, make sure that the instrument panel indicator lights are on. If not, the vehicle should be checked at an authorized service point
If the driver's seat belt was fastened at the start of the ignition, the seat belt warning light will not come on.

(For more details, see the page: www.LadaMan.ru)
2. If the ambient temperature is normal or above average and the engine does not start within 5 seconds, turn the key back to the "St" position, wait 5-10 seconds and try again.
3. If the ambient temperature is much lower than average and the engine does not start within 15 seconds, try turning the key back to the "St" position and wait 10 seconds. If the engine does not start the second time, press the clutch pedal and turn the key to the "D" position. After the engine has started, release the key and let the engine idle for a few seconds before engaging the clutch.
4. The normal ambient temperature for starting the engine is considered to be from -25C° to +40C° (if the ambient temperature is outside this range, technical problems may occur).
