The decorative cover is secured with four rubber clips that are placed on studs screwed into the intake manifold.
You will need a flat-blade screwdriver.

1. Press the lock and remove the wiring harness connector from the purge solenoid valve of the adsorber.

2. Use a screwdriver to pry up and remove the valve retainer.

3. Remove the valve and hoses from the engine.

4. Unscrew the oil filler cap.

5. Pull the casing up by the edges and remove it by releasing the clips from the studs.
Caution! Immediately after removing the casing, replace the oil filler cap to prevent foreign objects from entering the engine.

6. Inspect the fasteners on the back of the casing.

7. Replace the torn retainer by pressing it with a pointed tool (for example, with a screwdriver) edge of the retainer leg (shown by arrow) and push the retainer into the hole in the casing. To facilitate installation, lubricate the retainer with engine oil.
8. Install the decorative cover in the reverse order of removal, placing the fasteners on the studs and pressing the cover in the places where the fasteners are located until it stops.
