To replace the rear working brake cylinder you will need: «on 10», special key «on 10» for loosening the brake pipe nuts.
1. Engage 1st gear and place chocks under the front wheels. Remove the appropriate wheel and brake pads from the vehicle.
2. On the reverse side of the brake shield, clean the place of attachment of the brake tube and the bolts of the wheel brake cylinder from dirt. In order to facilitate the unscrewing of the bolts of the rear working brake cylinder and the nuts of the brake pipe, apply a special fluid such as WD-40 liquid wrench for threaded connections to the threaded connections.
3. Turn away a nut of fastening of a brake tube to the wheel cylinder.
4. Disconnect the brake pipe from the wheel brake cylinder by plugging the brake hose hole, for example, with a bleed valve cap.
5. Turn out two bolts of fastening of the wheel brake cylinder, holding it from the other side.
6. Remove the wheel cylinder from the brake shield.
7. Install the wheel brake cylinder on the vehicle in the reverse order of removal. Then bleed the brake system on the car (only the wheel cylinder on the wheel to be replaced is possible). Be sure to install the protective cap on the brake bleeder valve.
