If during operation there are leaks of brake fluid on the brake drum and the inner side of the wheel, replace the wheel cylinder.
Repairing a wheel cylinder usually does not produce positive results, and it also requires special tools. Therefore, it is recommended to replace the cylinder assembly.
You will need: a 10 mm wrench, a special 10 mm wrench for unscrewing the brake pipe nuts.
1. Engage 1st gear and place chocks under the front wheels. Remove the appropriate wheel and brake pads.
2. From the back of the brake shield, clean the brake pipe attachment point and wheel cylinder mounting bolts from dirt. To make it easier to remove the cylinder mounting bolts and brake pipe mounting nuts, apply a special threaded fluid to the threaded connections.

3. Unscrew the nut securing the brake pipe to the wheel cylinder.
4. Disconnect the brake pipe from the wheel cylinder by plugging the opening of the hose, for example with a bleed valve cap.
5. Remove the brake drum (see "Removing and installing the rear wheel brake drum").
6. Remove the two wheel cylinder mounting bolts while holding it from the other side.
7. Remove the wheel cylinder from the brake shield.
8. Install the wheel cylinder in the reverse order of removal. After this, bleed the brake system (only the wheel cylinder on the wheel being replaced is possible).
9. Be sure to install the protective cap on the bleed valve.
