1. Remove the battery (see "Removal and installation the battery").

2. Unscrew the two nuts securing the brake pipes to the master brake cylinder.
3. Disconnect the brake pipes from the master cylinder and move them to the side. Plug the holes in the brake pipes.

4. Unscrew the two nuts securing the master brake cylinder to the brake booster housing and remove the cylinder.

5. Install the brake master cylinder on the vehicle in reverse order. Pay attention to the condition of the rubber sealing cuff; if cracks or signs of aging appear, replace the cuff.
6. Bleed the vehicle's brake system (see "Bleeding the brake system").
