- two- or three-jaw puller;

- cup puller.
Removing
1. We prepare the car for filling work (see «Preparing the car for maintenance and repair»).
2. We loosen the rear wheel hub nut in the same way as shown on the front wheel (see «Front wheel bearing - replacement»).
3. We install the car on a stand, remove the wheel and brake drum (see «Brake drum - removal and installation»).
4. Turn off the nut and remove the thrust washer of the hub nut.
5. With a puller, we press the hub from the axle together with the bearing.
6. If the hub bearing has collapsed and its inner ring remains on the axle, we press it with a two-jaw puller, setting its catches in special recesses.
7. Install the hub in a vise.
8. With a puller, we compress and remove the bearing circlip.
9. Use a cup puller to press the bearing out of the hub.
Installation
Warning! When pressing a bearing, force can only be applied to its outer ring.
1. Using the outer ring of the old bearing as a mandrel, press the new bearing into the hub with a puller.
2. With a puller, install the bearing circlip.
3. Install the hub on the axle.
4. Install the thrust washer and bait the hub nut.
5. Wrapping the nut, press the bearing onto the hub axle.
6. Install the brake drum (see «Brake drum - removal and installation») and wheel (see «Wheel - replacement»).
7. We lower the car on wheels.
8. Tighten the hub nut to a torque of 186.3-225.6 Nm (19-23 kgf·m) and we jam the edge of the nut into the groove of the hub axis (see «Front wheel bearing - replacement»).
9. Install the hub cap.
