Adjusting the position of the trunk lock retainer (Kalina 1118)

If the trunk lid has vertical play in the closed position or closes with great effort, adjust the height of the trunk lid lock.

To adjust the position of the trunk lock retainer on a car, you will need: a Phillips-head screwdriver and a hammer.



1. Loosen the screws securing the trunk lock retainer...



2. ...and using light hammer blows, achieve the desired position of the trunk lock retainer on the body.

3. Check that the trunk lid lock can be easily locked. If necessary, repeat the adjustment of the trunk lid lock. After this, finally tighten the retainer mounting screws.
