1. Remove the front door trim (see "Removal and installation the front door trim").

2. Mark the position of the locking bracket on the inner door lock drive rod...

3. ...and disconnect the rod and bracket.

4. Remove the screw securing the front door inner handle mechanism.

5. Remove the front door inner handle mechanism.
6. Disconnect the outer door handle rod from the handle (see "Removal, installation and repair of the outer front door handle").
7. Disconnect the lock switch rod from the central lock (see "Removal, installation and repair of the outer front door handle").

8. Remove the three screws securing the central lock to the front door and move the lock forward.

9. Disconnect rod 1 of the central locking switch button and rod 2 of the inner handle of the front door from the lock.

10. Pull out the plastic retainer...

11. ...and disconnect the front door wiring harness connector from the central lock.

12. Remove the central lock from the door.

13. Mark the position of the outer door handle rod in the central locking clamp...

14. ...and remove the rod from the clamp.

Note: The front door central lock is a non-separable structure with an electric drive and is supplied as a spare part in one piece.

15. Remove the screws securing the front door central lock retainer housing: the upper and lower screws...

16. ...then use a socket head to tighten the middle screw...

17. ...and remove the central lock housing.
18. Install the front door central lock on the vehicle in the reverse order, having first applied VTV-1 grease to its drive rods.
