1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Remove the rear door trim (see "Removal and installation the rear door trim").

3. Remove the rear door glass seal...

4. ...unscrew the glass guide mounting bolt...

5. ...and remove the glass guide.

6. Mark the position of the locking bracket on the rear door inner lock drive rod...

7. ...and disconnect the rod and bracket.

8. Remove the screw securing the rear door inner handle mechanism.

9. Remove the rear door interior handle mechanism.

10. Mark the location of the central lock release button rod in the drive...

11. ...and disconnect the rod from the drive.

12. Remove the lock release button rod from the latch guide.

13. Remove three screws (shown in the photo by arrows) central lock mountings to the rear door...

14. ... remove the central lock from the door cavity...

15. ...disconnect the wiring harness connector from the central lock and remove the rear door lock.
16. Install the rear door central lock on the vehicle in the reverse order of removal.

Note: This is what the rear door central lock assembly with rods looks like when removed from the vehicle. The rear door lock is supplied as spare parts without drive rods and is not subject to detailed disassembly.
