Front door glass replacement (Kalina 1118)

To replace the front door glass on your car, you will need: a flat-blade screwdriver and a 10 mm spanner.

1. Lower the glass to the lowest position.

2. Remove the front door trim (see "Removal and installation the front door trim").



3. Pry up the inner glass seal from the inside...



4. ...and remove the glass seal.



5. Pry up the outer door glass seal from the inside with a screwdriver...





6. ...and remove it by pulling it forward out of engagement with the decorative insert.



7. Raise the front door glass to the upper position, which provides easy access to the mounting bolts...



8. ...unscrew the four bolts securing the glass to the window lift mechanism...



9. ...and remove the front door glass from the inside.

10. Install the front door glass on the vehicle in the reverse order of removal.
