Removal and installation the front door trim (Kalina 1118)

To remove and install the front door trim on a car, you will need: a knife, flat-head and Phillips-head screwdrivers.

1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.



2. Remove the decorative plug...



3. ...and unscrew the front screw securing the door trim panel.



4. Remove the rear screw securing the trim, located in the recess of the trim.





5. Press the door opening handle towards you, unscrew the screw that secures it...



6. ...and remove the handle from the lock drive.



7. Remove the two lower bolts securing the front door trim.



8. Unscrew the door lock button.





9. Using a screwdriver, pry the front door trim away so that the plastic clips come out of the holes in the door. Insert the screwdriver as close to the holders as possible, otherwise you may damage the door trim.

Note: Front door trim (view from the back side) it is attached to the door panel with eight plastic holders. Replace damaged holders with new ones.

10. Disconnect the power window and door lock switch wire harness connectors, then remove the door trim.

11. Install the front door trim on the vehicle in reverse order, replace damaged plastic holders with new ones.
