Removing
1. We prepare the car for work (see «Preparing the car for maintenance and repair»).
2. Using a 13 mm wrench, unscrew the two nuts 1 for fastening the clamping plate of the catalytic manifold mounting bracket. Using the same wrench, unscrew the two bolts 2 securing the bracket to the cylinder block.
3. With a 13 mm key, we unscrew the bolt of the lower fastening of the right rod to the cylinder block.
4. Using a 17 mm socket wrench, unscrew the nut of the lower fastening of the left rod.
5. Disconnect the catalytic manifold from the exhaust pipe of the additional muffler (see «Additional muffler - replacement»).
6. Remove the receiver (see «1.6i engine reservoir - removal, replacement of seals and installation»).
7. Remove the fuel rail (see «1.6i engine fuel rail - removal, disassembly, assembly and installation»).
8. Using a 13 mm socket wrench, unscrew the two nuts securing the mounting lug (ryma) and we take it off.
9. Using a 13 mm socket wrench, loosen the nut 1 of the lower bracket mount, and unscrew the nut 2 of the upper bracket mount.
10. Move the bracket to the side (turning it on a hairpin as on an axis).
11. Using a 13 mm socket wrench with an extension, unscrew five nuts 1 of the upper fastening and two nuts 2 of the lower fastening of the intake manifold. With a spanner wrench of the same dimension, we unscrew the nut 3 fastening the right rod to the inlet pipeline. Using a 17 mm wrench, unscrew the nut 4 of the left rod.
12. Remove the left bar.
13. Remove the right rod and spacer from the inlet pipe stud.
14. Remove the inlet pipeline.
15. Disconnect the wiring harness block from the oxygen concentration sensor (see «Oxygen concentration sensor - check, removal and installation»).
16. Using a 13 mm wrench, unscrew the two nuts of the left and right fastenings of the catalytic manifold and remove the manifold.
17. Remove the gasket from the studs.
Installation
Install the exhaust manifold and intake manifold in reverse order, replacing the gasket with a new one.
