Removal
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Using a 13 mm wrench, unscrew the two nuts 1 securing the clamping bar of the catalytic manifold mounting bracket. Using the same key, unscrew the two bolts 2 securing the bracket to the cylinder block.

3. Using a 13 mm wrench, unscrew the bolt securing the lower right rod to the cylinder block.

4. Using a 17 mm socket wrench, unscrew the nut of the lower mount of the left rod.

5. Disconnect the catalytic collector from the inlet pipe of the additional muffler (see "Additional muffler - replacement").
6. Remove the receiver (see "1.6i Engine Receiver - Removal, Seal Replacement and Installation").
7. Remove the fuel rail (see "Fuel rail of the 1.6i engine - removal, disassembly, assembly and installation").
8. Using a 13 mm socket wrench, unscrew the two nuts securing the mounting eye (eye) and remove it.

9. Using a 13 mm socket wrench, loosen nut 1 of the lower bracket mount and unscrew nut 2 of the upper bracket mount.

10. Move the bracket to the side (turning it on a pin as if on an axis).
11. Using a 13 mm socket wrench with an extension, unscrew the five nuts 1 of the upper mount and two nuts 2 of the lower mount of the intake manifold. Using a spanner of the same size, unscrew nut 3 securing the right rod to the intake manifold. Using a 17 mm wrench, unscrew nut 4 securing the left rod.

12. Remove the left bar.
13. Remove the right rod and spacer sleeve from the intake manifold stud.

14. Remove the intake manifold.

15. Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the oxygen concentration sensor (see "Oxygen concentration sensor - checking, removal and installation").
16. Using a 13 mm wrench, unscrew the two nuts securing the left and right catalytic manifold and remove the manifold.

17. Remove the gasket from the studs.

Installation
We install the exhaust manifold and intake manifold in the reverse order, replacing the gasket with a new one.
