1. Remove the gearbox (see "Removal and installation the gearbox").
2. If you are going to install the old clutch pressure plate, mark it in any way (for example, by kerning) the relative position of the clutch basket and flywheel to install the clutch pressure plate in the same position as before removal (to maintain balance).
3. Holding the flywheel with a screwdriver to prevent it from turning, unscrew the six bolts securing the clutch pressure plate basket to the flywheel. Loosen the bolts evenly: one turn of the wrench each, moving from bolt to bolt according to diameter.
4. Remove the pressure and driven clutch discs from the flywheel, holding the driven clutch disc. 5. Cracks on the clutch driven disc parts are not allowed. Check the wear of the friction linings. If the rivet heads are recessed less than 0.2 mm, the surface of the friction linings is oily or the riveted joints are loose, the driven clutch disc must be replaced. Check the reliability of the fixation of the damper springs in the sockets of the clutch driven disk hub; if the springs are broken, the clutch disk must be replaced.
6. Check the runout of the driven clutch disc if warping is detected during visual inspection. If the runout of the clutch driven disc exceeds 0.5 mm, replace the clutch disc.
7. Inspect the working friction surfaces of the flywheel and clutch pressure plate, paying attention to the absence of deep scratches, nicks, nicks, obvious signs of wear and overheating. Replace defective parts.
8. Before installing the clutch on the vehicle, check the ease of movement of the driven clutch disc along the splines of the input shaft of the gearbox. If necessary, eliminate the causes of jamming or replace defective parts.
9. Please note that when installing the driven clutch disc into the clutch basket, the more protruding part of the hub should be directed towards the pressure spring.
10. When installing the clutch, first install the clutch driven disc using a drift...
11. ...then place the clutch basket on the three centering pins and screw in the bolts securing the clutch basket to the flywheel. Tighten the bolts evenly: one turn of the key each, moving from bolt to bolt according to diameter. The tightening torque of the bolts is specified in appendix 1.
12. Remove the mandrel and install the gearbox.
13. Install the lower end of the clutch cable to the gearbox and restore the original adjustment of the clutch release cable (see "Replacing the clutch release cable").
