However, according to the manufacturer's recommendation, during each maintenance, it is necessary to control the clutch pedal travel and, at the same time, the clarity of the gear shift.
1. Set the clutch release cable to its original position, for which, overcoming the force of the mechanism spring, move the lower end of the cable forward in the direction of the vehicle until it stops. Holding the tip extended, measure the dimension L between the fork and the leash, it should be 27 mm. If the size does not match the specified value, set it by rotating the leash in the desired direction.
2. Insert the tip of the cable into the groove of the clutch release fork and release it. Under the action of the spring, the tip leash should be installed on the fork without a gap.
Note. Before installing the tip leash on the fork, apply LSTs-15 or Litol-24 lubricant to its surface in contact with the fork.
3. Press the clutch pedal three times to the stop and re-measure the distance L (see point 1). Repeat the adjustment if necessary.
