Replacing the filter of the ventilation and heating system of the cabin (Priora 2170)

The manufacturer recommends replacing the air filter entering the cabin at each maintenance, i.e. every 15 thousand km. However, its condition depends on the operating conditions of the car. As practice shows, it is advisable to replace the filter element once a year - in the fall.

You will need a flat-head screwdriver and a Phillips-head screwdriver.



1. Open the hood and remove the rubber seal.



2. Carefully pry up the three plastic plugs with a screwdriver…



3. …and take them off.





4. Remove the three screws securing the right windshield frame trim…



5. …and three screws securing the right engine compartment trim.



6. Remove the right windshield frame trim.



7. Remove the four screws securing the filter cover…





8. …and remove the lid.



9. Remove the filter from the air intake housing.

10. Install the new filter in the reverse order of removal.
