Note: Periodically between replacements, remove the filter element and clean it from dust by vigorously shaking it or blowing it with compressed air in the direction opposite to the air flow when the engine is running.
You will need a Phillips-head screwdriver.
1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.

2. Remove the four screws securing the air filter cover…

3. ...press the latch..

4. …and disconnect the wiring harness connector from the mass air flow sensor.

5. Lift the lid, slightly bending the air supply hose…

6. …and remove the filter element from the cover.
7. If necessary, remove dust and dirt from the air filter housing.

8. Install a new filter element into the cover, orienting its ribs in the direction of the arrow.
Note: To eliminate the possibility of erroneous installation of the filter element from inside the filter, the inscription "Filtering element corrugations should be positioned along the arrow" and an arrow are applied to the bottom of its housing.
9. Install all removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
