Note: It is recommended to drain the oil within 15 minutes after driving, while it is still warm and has good fluidity.
You will need: a 17 mm wrench, transmission oil, a syringe for filling transmission units or a device made by yourself, a wide container for draining the oil, a clean rag.
Note: To fill the gearbox with oil, it is convenient to use a funnel with a rubber hose of a suitable diameter.
Note. Fill the gearbox with transmission oils of the "TRANS KP" group. Oils recommended by the manufacturer are listed in Appendix 2.
1. Place the vehicle on an inspection pit or lift. Remove the engine splash guard (see "Removing and installing the engine mudguard").
2. Place a container under the gearbox to drain the oil, unscrew the drain plug…
3. …and drain the oil.
4. Clean the drain plug from dirt and metal particles and tighten it.
5. If the drained oil is heavily contaminated or contains mechanical impurities, flush the gearbox:
- pour 1.3 liters of flushing oil into the crankcase and install the oil filler plug in place;
- lift one or both front wheels, engage first gear and run the engine for 2–3 minutes;
- drain the flushing oil;
- wipe the oil drain plug clean and reinstall it.
6. Remove the oil level indicator…
7. …and fill the gearbox housing with fresh oil…
8. …to the level of the "max" mark (top mark) on the indicator (3.1 l).
9. Insert the pointer into the gearbox housing hole until it stops.
10. Install the engine splash guard.
