You will need: keys "10", "13".
1. To replace the belt, use a 13 mm wrench to loosen the nut securing the generator to the tension bracket.
2. Using a 10 mm spanner, turn the adjusting bolt and move the generator towards the engine until it stops.
Note: It is more convenient to replace the alternator drive belt with the vehicle installed on a lift or inspection pit.
3. Place the vehicle on a lift and remove the right front wheel (see "Wheel change").
4. Remove the right front wheel arch liner (see "Removing and installing the mudguard").
5. Remove the belt from the generator and crankshaft pulleys.
6. Install the belt in the reverse order of removal.
7. Adjust the tension of the generator drive belt (see "Checking the alternator drive belt tension").
