Generator Drive Belt — Checking Condition (Granta 2190)

1. Prepare the car for work ("Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").

2. Visually check the condition of the generator drive belt.

3. If cracks, signs of wear or other damage are found on it, replace the belt (see below).

Note: The belt tension is determined by its length, so there is no tensioner. Accordingly, during vehicle operation, tension adjustment is not required. If the belt begins to slip on the pulleys due to wear or oiling, it must be replaced.
