Removal
1. Remove the generator drive belt ("Generator Drive Belt - Replacement").
2. Remove the wire tips from the contact bolt.
3. Disconnect the wires from the generator (see "Voltage Regulator - Replacement").
4. Using a 13 mm socket wrench, unscrew the nut on the upper generator mounting bolt. Using a 17 mm socket wrench, unscrew the generator's lower mounting bolt.
5. Remove the bolts from the generator bracket and remove the generator.
6. To avoid losing them, remove the nut and bolt sleeve from the generator bracket.
Installation
We install the generator in the reverse order.
