To change the oil in the gearbox of a car, you will need: a 17 mm wrench, a syringe for filling transmission units or a device made by yourself, a wide container for draining the oil.
1. Place a container under the gearbox to drain the oil, unscrew the drain plug and drain the oil.
2. Clean the drain plug from dirt and metal particles and tighten it. 3. If the drained oil is heavily contaminated or mechanical impurities are found in it, flush the gearbox as follows:
- pour 1.3 liters of flushing oil into the gearbox housing and install the oil filler plug in place;
- lift one or both front wheels, engage first gear and start the engine for 2-3 minutes;
- drain the flushing oil from the gearbox;
- wipe the drain plug clean and replace it.
4. Remove the oil level indicator...
5. ...and fill the gearbox housing with fresh transmission oil up to the "MAX" mark (top mark) on the indicator (3.1 l).
6. Insert the oil level indicator into the gearbox housing hole until it stops.
