Gearbox oil change (XRAY 1)

The gearbox oil must be changed every 45 thousand km. On a new car, the oil must be changed after 2000 km and then changed after 45 thousand km.

It is recommended to change the oil on a warmed-up gearbox. It is better to plan an oil change after a long trip.

We clean the gearbox housing around the drain hole. Place a container with a capacity of at least 2.0 liters under the drain hole.

Using a 12 mm Allen key, unscrew the drain plug...



... and drain the oil into a container provided.

We clean the plug magnet and screw the plug back into place.

Fill the gearbox with transmission oil to the required level (see "Checking the gearbox oil level").
