Replacing the replacement element of the outdoor air filter of the heating, ventilation and air conditioning system (XRAY 1)

We replace the replaceable element of the outside air purification filter in accordance with the maintenance regulations every 15 thousand km.

The outside air filter is located under the windshield trim on the right side. Above the filter in the windshield trim, a cover is installed with sealant and secured with a self-tapping screw.

Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the screw securing the filter cover.

We remove the cover. Prying it off with a screwdriver...



...we remove the replaceable element from the filter housing.

When installing a new element, we orient it so that the foam rubber glued to it is located on top. Before installing the cover, apply sealant along its contour.
