Clutch release drive — adjustment (Kalina 1119)

The clutch release drive is equipped with an automatic cable length adjustment mechanism, so no systematic adjustment of the drive is required during vehicle operation. It is performed after repairs involving disassembly of the clutch or its release drive, and is necessary in order to set the elements of the automatic adjustment mechanism to their original position.

To complete the work you will need a caliper.

Sequence of execution

1. Remove the air filter (see "Air filter - removal and installation").

2. Pull the tip to tighten the clutch cable as much as possible and use a caliper to measure the distance between the rod and the fork lever.



3. If the distance is not equal to 27 mm, turn the leash along the thread of the cable tip, achieving the recommended value.



4. Press the clutch pedal three or four times and repeat the measurements. If necessary, repeat the adjustment.
