Removing
1. Remove the air filter (see «Air filter - removal and installation»).
2. Pulling the tip of the cable, we remove its leash from engagement with the clutch release fork lever.
3. We unscrew the leash along the thread of the cable tip and remove the leash.
4. We remove the lower tip of the cable sheath from the bracket mounted on the gearbox housing.
5. In the cabin, under the instrument panel, with an 8 mm wrench, unscrew the nut that secures the cable sheath bracket to the clutch pedal bracket.
6. Prying with a screwdriver, remove the spring fixing bracket for finishing the cable tip.
7. Remove the leash from the clutch pedal lever finger.
There is a plastic bushing on the clutch pedal pin, do not lose it. Damaged bushing should be replaced.
8. We remove the rubber boot from the hole in the partition of the engine compartment, pull the cable out of the engine compartment and remove it.
Installation
1. Coat the pin and clutch pedal pin bushing with grease (Litol-24).
2. We stretch the cable through the hole in the partition of the engine compartment from the passenger compartment to the engine compartment.
3. We fill the rubber boot of the cable sheath into the hole in the partition of the engine compartment.
4. We put the leash of the toothed tip of the cable on the clutch pedal finger and fasten it with a fixing bracket.
5. Fasten the cable sheath bracket to the clutch pedal bracket with a nut.
6. In the engine compartment, insert the lower tip of the cable sheath into the hole in the gearbox bracket.
7. We screw the leash onto the threaded end of the cable, ensuring that the tip protrudes from the leash within one turn of the thread.
8. Adjust the clutch release drive (see above «Clutch release actuator - adjustment»), then press the clutch pedal several times and repeat the adjustment.
9. Grease (Litol-24) cover the working surface of the leash of the threaded cable end.
10. We make sure that the clutch works properly (see «Checking the technical condition of the clutch»).
