Removal
1. Remove the air filter (see "Air filter - removal and installation").
2. Pull the end of the cable to disengage its leash from the clutch release fork lever.

3. Unscrew the leash along the thread of the cable end and remove the leash.

4. Remove the lower end of the cable sheath from the bracket installed on the gearbox housing.

5. In the passenger compartment, under the instrument panel, use an 8 mm wrench to unscrew the nut securing the cable sheath bracket to the clutch pedal bracket.

6. Using a screwdriver, remove the spring retaining clip of the cable end.

7. Remove the leash from the clutch pedal lever finger.
There is a plastic sleeve left on the clutch pedal pin, do not lose it. If damaged, the bushing should be replaced.

2. Pull the cable through the hole in the engine compartment partition from the passenger compartment to the underhood space.
3. Insert the rubber cover of the cable sheath into the hole in the engine compartment partition.
4. Place the toothed end of the cable onto the clutch pedal pin and secure it with the retaining clip.
5. Fasten the cable housing bracket to the clutch pedal bracket with a nut.
6. In the engine compartment, insert the lower end of the cable sheath into the hole in the gearbox bracket.
7. Screw the leash onto the threaded end of the cable, ensuring that the end protrudes from the leash within one thread turn.
8. Adjust the clutch release drive (see above "Clutch release drive - adjustment"), then press the clutch pedal several times and repeat the adjustment.
9. Cover the working surface of the threaded end of the cable with plastic grease (Litol-24).
10. Make sure the clutch is working properly (see "Checking the technical condition of the clutch").
