1. In the cabin under the instrument panel with a key «for 8» unscrew the nut securing the cable sheath stop to the pedal bracket and remove the stop from the bracket.
2. Prying with a screwdriver, remove the locking bracket and the housing of the mechanism for compensating the wear of the driven disk linings from the clutch pedal finger.
3. Remove the plastic sleeve from the pedal pin and inspect it. Replace a heavily worn or damaged bushing by lubricating it with Litol-24 or LSTs-15 grease before installation.
4. In the engine compartment, remove the clutch release cable sheath seal from the hole in the bulkhead shield.
5. Pulling the end of the cable forward in the direction of travel of the vehicle, remove the end from the groove of the clutch release fork.
6. Key «at 17» unscrew the nut that secures the tip to the bracket on the gearbox, holding the tip from turning with the second wrench..
7.... remove the tip from the bracket and remove the cable from the car, pulling it out of the hole in the bulkhead.
8. To install a new clutch release cable, first, passing it through the hole in the bulkhead, fasten the wear compensation mechanism housing to the clutch pedal finger.
Note. Before installing the compensation mechanism on the pedal pin, apply grease LSTs-15 or Litol-24 to the pin bushing.
9. Attach the cable sheath stop to the pedal bracket.
10. Install the cable sheath seal in the opening of the bulkhead shield.
11. Establish a tip of a cover of a cable in an arm of a transmission and tighten a nut of its fastening.
12. Screw the leash onto the lower end of the cable, ensuring that the tip protrudes 0–1 mm relative to the end of the leash.
13. Establish a cable of a drive of deenergizing of coupling in a starting position for what move the bottom tip of a cable against the stop forward in a direction of the car movement. Holding the tip extended, measure the dimension L between the fork and the leash, it should be 27 mm. If the size does not match the specified value, set it by rotating the leash in the desired direction.
14. Enter the tip of the cable into the groove of the clutch release fork and release - under the action of the spring, the lug of the tip should be installed on the fork without a gap.
Note. Before installing the tip leash on the fork, apply LSTs-15 or Litol-24 lubricant to its surface in contact with the fork.
15. Press the clutch pedal three times to the stop and re-measure the distance L (see point 13). Repeat the adjustment if necessary.
