The starter connection diagram is shown in the figure 9.3.
Technical characteristics of starter type 5702.3708
- Nominal power, kW — 1.55
- Current consumption at maximum power, A - 375
- Current consumption in the braked state, A, no more than - 700
Current consumption at idle, A — 80 Starter type 5702.3708 (figure 9.4) - a direct current electric motor with excitation from permanent magnets, with a planetary gearbox and an electromagnetic two-winding traction relay.
Covers 11, 27 and stator housing 29 are pulled together by two studs. The shaft 25 of the anchor rotates in two metal-ceramic inserts installed in the cover 27 and support 32. Four permanent magnets 30 are fixed in the stator housing.
Rotation from shaft 25 of the anchor is transmitted to shaft 1 of the drive through a planetary gearbox, which consists of a central gear 34, three planetary gears 33, a carrier 35 and a gear 36 with internal engagement. The planetary gears rotate on needle bearings. When the starter is turned on, voltage from the battery is supplied to both windings of the starter traction relay via the ignition switch (lock) (retractor 14 and retainer 13). Under the influence of the magnetic field of the windings, the anchor 12 of the relay is drawn in and, using the lever 10, engages the gear 4 with the engine flywheel. After the contact bolts 20 of plate 18 are closed, the pull-in winding is switched off, and the relay armature is held in the pulled-in state only by the holding winding. When the ignition key is turned to position "II", the holding winding is de-energized, and the anchor, under the action of the spring, returns to its original position, disengaging gear 4 from the flywheel with lever 10.
