Removal and installation the starter (Kalina 1118)

To remove and install the starter on a car, you will need: a 13 mm socket wrench, a TORX T25 socket wrench.

1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.

2. Remove the left engine splash guard from the vehicle (see "Removal and installation the engine mudguard").



3. Disconnect the wire from the starter solenoid terminal.



4. Move the rubber cover...



5. ...unscrew the nut and disconnect the wire from the contact bolt of the starter traction relay.





6. Unscrew the nut of the starter upper mounting stud...



7. ...then remove the nut of the lower starter mounting stud and remove the starter.

8. Install the starter on the vehicle in the reverse order of removal.
