Removal and installation of generator 9402.3701-06 (Kalina 1118)

To remove and install the generator on the car, you will need a 13 mm socket wrench.

1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.

2. Loosen the tension of the generator drive belt (see "Checking the alternator drive belt tension and replacing it").



3. Disconnect the connector with wires from the generator terminals.



4. Remove the rubber boot, unscrew the nut and disconnect the wires from the generator power supply contact stud.



5. Loosen the nut of the generator upper mounting bolt to the bracket and remove the bolt from the bracket.





6. Remove the generator lower mounting bolt...



7. ...holding the nut from the back of the bracket...



8. ... remove the bolt together with the bushings and remove the generator.

9. Install the generator on the vehicle in the reverse order of removal.
