1. Loosen the alternator drive belt (see "Checking the alternator drive belt tension and replacing it").
2. Remove the upper mounting bolt of the alternator belt tensioner...
3. ... remove it together with the bushing and washer (the washer is located on the back side of the bracket).

4. Unscrew the lower mounting bolt of the alternator belt tensioner and remove the tensioner together with the bolt, bushing and washer.
5. Install the alternator drive belt tensioner on the vehicle in the reverse order of removal.
