You will need: key «at 17», socket wrench (head) «at 30», snap ring pliers, mandrels, large screwdriver, center punch, hammer.
Note. To press the wheel bearing, use the appropriate size mandrels from the kit. In their absence, you can use the rings of the old bearing.
1. Remove the decorative cap (see «Wheel replacement»).
2. Pry with a screwdriver..
3.... and remove the protective cap.
4. Loosen the hub nut.
5. Loosen the hub nut.
6. Place the vehicle on an inspection ditch or lift. Remove the wheel (see «Wheel replacement»).
7. Loosen the nuts of the bolts securing the steering knuckle to the rack (see «Removal and installation of a telescopic rack»).
8. Turn out two bolts of fastening of a spherical support to a rotary fist.
9. Finally unscrew the hub nut..
10.... and remove the thrust washer.
11. Remove the caliper (see «Removal and installation of the working cylinder of the forward brake mechanism»).
12. Remove the brake disc (see «Removal and installation of a brake disk of a forward wheel»).
13. Finally turn away nuts of bolts of fastening of a rotary fist to a rack and take out bolts.
14. Remove the steering knuckle from the rack bracket.
15. Press the hub out of the inner ring of the bearing using a suitable punch.
16. If the outer part of the inner ring of the bearing remains on the hub, press it with a puller. For ease of dismantling, there are two special recesses on the hub.
17. Remove lock rings from both parties of a rotary fist.
18. Using a mandrel, press the bearing out of the steering knuckle.
19. Install the outer circlip.
20. Press the new bearing into the steering knuckle in a vice or press using an appropriate mandrel, applying force only to the outer ring of the bearing. Do not hammer the bearing: it may collapse.
21. Install the inner circlip.
22. Use a mandrel to press the hub into the inner ring of the bearing.
23. Establish a rotary fist in an order, the return to removal. In this case, use a new hub nut or a nut from another wheel (so that the old jammed parts a of the collar of the nut during punching do not fall into the groove b on the shank of the outer CV joint).
24. Finally tighten the hub nut in the same way as the wheel bolts with the vehicle on the ground and lock it in two places. Install the protective cap.
