1. Brake the vehicle with the parking brake and set the wheel chocks («shoes») under the rear wheels. Raise the front of the vehicle with a jack and place it on stands. Remove the wheel.
2. In a niche of a wheel take out a brake hose from an arm on a rack.
3. Disconnect the tie rod from the swing arm (see «Removal and installation of an external tip of steering draft and a protective cover of the spherical hinge»).
4. Mark the eccentric washer and post to mark the position of the adjusting bolt relative to the post. This will help to maintain approximately the camber when installing the rack.
5. Turn away a nut adjusting (top) strut-to-knuckle mounting bolt and remove the bolt together with the eccentric washer.
6. Similarly turn away a nut of the lower bolt of fastening of a rack to a rotary fist and take out a bolt.
7. Disconnect a rotary fist from a rack.
8. In the engine compartment, unscrew the three nuts of the upper rack mounting..
9.... and remove the telescopic strut through the wheel arch.
10. Install the telescoping pole in the reverse order of removal. When installing the old rack, turn the eccentric washer in accordance with the marks made earlier and, holding the adjusting bolt in this position from turning, tighten the fastening nut.
11. Having installed the car on wheels, check up reliability of an inhaling of a nut of fastening of the top support of a rack. After assembly, check and, if necessary, adjust the toe and camber.
