Removal
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Lift the protective cover of the windshield wiper arm mounting nut.
3. Using a 10 mm open-end wrench, unscrew the windshield wiper arm mounting nut.
4. Remove the lever from the motor-reducer shaft (see "Windscreen wiper - removal and installation").
5. Remove the trim of the luggage compartment door (see "Tailgate Trim - Removal and Installation").
6. Disconnect the wiring harness connector 1 from the gearmotor. Using a 10 mm socket wrench, unscrew the three nuts 2 securing the gearmotor.
7. Remove the gear motor, carefully removing its shaft from the hole in the luggage compartment door.
8. If necessary, remove the spacer washer and rubber seal from the outside of the door (shown by arrow).

9. Remove the shaft guide bushing from the door opening.
Installation
We install the windshield wiper in the reverse order. Before installing the lever, briefly turn on the windshield wiper. After waiting for the windshield wiper to complete a full cycle, we attach the lever to the motor-reducer shaft so that the brush is located horizontally on the left side of the glass.
