Removal
1. Prepare the car for work ("Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Using the window lift handle, set the door glass to the upper position.
3. Remove the door trim (see "Door trim - removal and installation").
4. Fix the glass with masking tape.
5. Remove the spacer sleeve from the window lift mechanism shaft.
6. Using an 8 mm socket wrench, unscrew the three nuts securing the window lift mechanism.
7. Using the same key, unscrew the two bolts securing 1 glass to the window regulator guide. Using a 10 mm socket wrench, unscrew nut 2 of the upper window lift guide mount...
... and two nuts 3 for fastening the window regulator guides.
8. Remove the window regulator from the door through the lower hole.
Installation
We install the window regulator in the reverse order.
