Warning. The injectors should only be removed in the manner shown below if they are being replaced, as this will break the retainers. If you need to remove the windshield washer nozzles without damaging their retainers, you must remove the hood trim (see "Hood - removal, installation and adjustment of position"), and to remove the rear window washer nozzle, you will need to remove the additional brake light.
Sequence of work
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Using a slotted screwdriver, place a cloth folded in several layers underneath it, pry up and remove the nozzle from the hole in the cathode.
3. Disconnect the tube from the injector (see "Hood - removal, installation and adjustment of position").
4. Place the tube on the new nozzle so that the nozzle spray is directed towards the windshield.
5. Install the nozzle into the hood hole and press on it from above until it locks into place.
6. Using a thin needle, turn the nozzle spray so that the stream of liquid is directed at the glass.
7. Similarly, replace the other nozzle and the rear window washer nozzle.
