Windshield washer fluid should have a pleasant, soft aroma (or not smell at all). As a rule, manufacturers use fragrances to try to mask the sharp smell of isopropyl alcohol.
Windscreen washer fluid should evaporate completely and not leave streaks, rainbow films or deposits on the glass surface that impair visibility - it is best to use blue fluid, as this is the most transparent and closest color to the glass, and thin films of other colors are visible on it and distort the road situation.
Windscreen washer fluid should not damage enamel and paint coatings and should not destroy plastic and rubber parts of the car.
